Adv. Maitreyi S. Hegde is a seasoned legal professional practising before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Kerala since 2015. She is the Founder and Senior Partner at NyaayanishthaLegal Associates, leading litigation and advisory work in constitutional law, service law, civil and criminal matters, and public interest cases.

She was part of the legal team in the landmark case that struck down Section 497 IPC (adultery law), which marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of personal liberty and gender equality jurisprudence in India. Her prior experience includes working at Vakilsearch.com and serving as an Associate at Kaleeswaram Raj and Associates for six years.

She also advises on public health law, regulatory compliance, and animal protection law, having recently completed the Ahimsa Fellowship in animal rights and policy. A multilingual professional, Ms. Hegde is fluent in English, Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi, with working knowledge of Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. She is the founder of Nyayanishta, the first Kannada online law magazine, and a published writer and speaker on legal awareness and reform.  

Anjali

Adv. Anjali Anil A, (She/Her), is a dedicated and passionate lawyer practising before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Kerala. She is a Partner at NyaayanishthaLegal. She started her career under the guidance of Adv. Kaleeswaram Raj.

Coupled with professionalism and adept organisational skills, Anjali, with her unwavering sense of justice and ethics, has been able to handle matters involving complicated questions of Constitutional law in her young career. She is resourceful and often a favourite amongst her legal compatriots when it comes to judging moot court competitions and providing career guidance to young students at various law colleges across Kerala.

She was also the former Joint Secretary of Aegis Charitable Society, a non – profitable organisation, which endeavours to bring progressive changes in the vulnerable sections of Society through education, empowerment and health services.

She is also the recipient of the prestigious ‘Kumari Anna Soyus Memorial Endowment – 2023′ awarded by the Kerala High Court Advocates’ Association. With excellent verbal and written dexterity, and equipped with essential litigation skills such as effective negotiation, presentation, conflict resolution and critical legal acumen, she makes sure that her clients’ needs are met comprehensively and comfortably.

Adv. Radhika Prasad is a graduate of Government Law College, Thrissur, and was enrolled with the Bar in October 2024. She has a strong legal foundation built through experience across diverse areas of law. Her exposure includes Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, and Administrative Law, gained through the submission of research papers, participation in seminars, and active involvement in legal competitions.

Her practice involves drafting Special Leave Petitions, Writ Petitions, and detailed counter affidavits, with regular appearances before the High Court and statutory tribunals. She is known for her clear and structured submissions before the court, as well as for her strategic planning and consistent follow-up on each matter through daily coordination.

Radhika actively participates in court-referred mediation proceedings, effectively representing her clients’ interests and facilitating amicable resolutions where appropriate. Backed by rigorous legal research, she ensures that her pleadings and arguments are precise, well-founded, and informed by the latest jurisprudence, consistently strengthening her advocacy in litigation.
